Event editor is a tool that helps to set certain conditions under which data of monitored objects is obtained. In order to call this tool, you need to open Menu Bar -> Settings -> Event editor or double click vehicle fleet structure in the Objects Panel.
There is a possibility to generate Event report (see the section Events).
Vehicle fleet structure
In the area Vehicle Fleet, the structure of the fleet chosen in the Objects Panel.
In the Events area a list of created events is displayed.
Events can be of two types:
events depending on the sensor data (speed is more than...(assigned limit value), temperature is more than...(assigned limit value), etc);
events connected with geo zone (leaving geo zone, failure to enter geo zone before specified time. etc.). See instruction for geo zone creation in the section Geo Zones.
When an event occurs, all the data about this event will be displayed:
To create geo zone event, you need to create a geo zone area first (see the section Geo Zones).
In the event parameters you need to:
1. Select event type:
2. Select the geo zone's name:
For the events connected with time, you should choose necessary time interval:
You can access statictics on violations when you generate a corresponding report (Report generation -> Group report: crossing geo zone borders).
Important: you should only create this report if at least one event "Failure to leave geo zone..." has been created.
To create an event "Deviation from route", you should first create a route (see the section Routes).
1. Choose event type:
2. Choose the name of the route and set the maximum allowed route deviation (in meters).
For creation of the event "Emergency braking" additional parameter configurations are available.
To use this configuration, you need to put a tick to acceleration-deceleration in the area of event parameters and indicate the following: initial velocity (km/h), final velocity (km/h), time interval (sec). Basing on the input parameters, acceleration rate is calculated (m/sec2) (acceleration/deceleration):
A tick is put (checkbox is selected) to inform a user about the occurrance of an event, and this dialog window appears on the screen:
– the number of events for the chosen time interval is shown.
In case if events occur too often, and it makes interaction with the program too difficult, you can block messages about the newcoming events for some period of time.
Use this button to clear the list of events in the notification window.
